Ruth E. Boldosser, 92, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at home with family by her side. She was born on May 6, 1930, in Latimore Twp., Adams County and was a daughter of the late Farel C. Galloway and Carrie (Hummer) Galloway. Ruth was the widow of Paul E. Boldosser who passed away November 19, 2013.
Ruth retired from Carlisle Tire & Rubber Co. after 25 years of service. She loved her family, gardening and sewing.
She is survived by one daughter Sharon (husband Robert C.) Adams of Carlisle, one brother Dennis "Jim" Galloway, one granddaughter Jennifer (husband Walter) Liedy of Vienna, VA, twin grandsons, Nathan Wood and Barrett (wife Brianna) Wood and many nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Nettie Wolford, Ethel Carey and Janet Harvey, four brothers, Howard, Kenneth, Robert and William Galloway and one grandson Jason Adams.
A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
