Farel Charles Galloway, 61, Gardners R.1, Cumberland County, died at his home this morning at 1:30 o'clock from a complication of diseases.
He was born in Cumberland County, a son of Mrs. Margaret (Spertzel) Galloway, 97, who survives the late Howard D. Galloway.
For a number of years he worked at the clay bank at Poland and later at the Eaton-Dikeman paper mill, Mt Holly Springs. He was a night watchman at the Pitzer Truck Terminal, Aspers, until two weeks ago when he became ill.
In addition to his mother who resided with him he is survived by his widow the former Carrie R. Hummer; seven children, Mrs. Nettie Woldford and Mrs. Ethel Carey, both of Gardners; Mrs. Ruth Boldesser, Carlisle; Miss Jane Galloway, at home; Robert H., Idaville; Dennis E., Gardners; William E., at home, and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Idaville Evangelical Church , conducted by the Rev. Percy Brown. Interment in the Idaville Cemetery.
