Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m., for Mrs. Orissa Elizabeth Rich Allred, 74, of St. Charles, who died Monday (24 Dec 1951) in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Allred, who lived in St. Charles all her life, was a daughter of Hyrum S. and Elizabeth Stock Rich. She was married to Ernest W. Allred on October 12, 1898 in the Logan Temple and the couple celebrated their golden wedding in 1948.
She is survived by her husband and five sons and daughters, Mrs. Melvin Webb of Hinckley, Utah; Rich and Clifford Allred and Mrs. Curtis Pugmire, all of St. Charles, and Evan Allred, St. Paul, Minnesota. One daughter, Mrs. Marvin Rasmussen, preceded her in death. Six brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Sarah Allred, Fairview, Wyoming; Mrs. Ethel Morgan, Liberty; Orson, John and Ray Rich and Mrs. Elva Pugmire, all of St. Charles and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be held in the St. Charles ward chapel under direction of the Matthews Mortuary.
