OBITUARY- The Steele Enterprise, Steele, MO, May 6, 2004

Cora Mae Blaylock, 83, of Calhoun City, MS, died Sunday, May 2, 2004 at the Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home in Calhoun City. Born July 24, 1920, she retired from the Kellwood Company and was a member of the Calhoun City First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Blaylock Scott.
Mrs. Blaylock leaves her husband, Preston Blaylock, of Calhoun City; three sons, Randy Blaylock of Grenada, MS, Ervin G. Blaylock and Billy Blaylock, both of Memphis, TN; two brothers, James Lee Boatner of Madison, MS and J. B. Boatner of Memphis, TN; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Mrs. Blaylock were held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at the Pryor Funeral Home Chapel in Calhoun City with Jim Vance and the Rev. David Tuten officiating.
Burial was at the Oak Springs Cemetery in Derma, MS, with Pryor Funeral Home of Calhoun City in charge.
