J. B. BOATNER, 82, of Memphis, passed away on December 9, 2006 at the Baptist Hospital Memphis. He was a retired self-employed Carpenter and served in the Navy during World War II. He will have a visitation from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Friday at the Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. He will have a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Friday in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He is survived by his happily married wife of 61 years, Glynda Boatner; one daughter, Kathy Boatner Bryson and her husband, Geoff of Cordova; one son, Richard Boatner; and two granddaughters, Kelly Duke and husband, Joseph and Nicole Boatner.
