Southaven - BILLY BLAYLOCK, 63, dispatcher, was born July 15, 1950 in Steele, MO to the late Preston and Cora Mae Blaylock and passed away November 1, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - DeSoto. Mr. Blaylock was Baptist. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathy Blaylock of Southaven; one daughter, Monica Light and her husband, Justin of Horn Lake, MS; and one brother, Randy Blaylock of Grenada, MS. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ervin Blaylock. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12 from 2 p.m. until the memorial service begins at 3 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to DeSoto Animal Rescue.
