Bud Lee Henington, 84, passed away on January 9, 2023, in Decatur, IL.

Bud was born to Elmer and Erma Henington on June 11, 1938, in Proctorville, OH. He married Judy Rose Williams on November 22, 1986, in Decatur, IL. Bud loved music. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing and was in a band for a time during his younger years. They would perform in different clubs around town. He also loved anything mechanical. He enjoyed working on cars and had a knack for fixing lawnmowers.

Bud is survived by his wife, Judy Henington, sons, Jesse (Karen) Henington, Paul (Angie) Polk; daughter, Becky Henington-Davis; sisters, Nora Kinney, Debbie with her husband, Bob; grandchildren, Greg Henington, Matt Henington, Clint Henington, Darren Davis, Justin Henington, Tanner Polk, Emily Polk; great grandchildren, Reese Henington, Raelyn Henington, and many extended family and friends.

Bud is preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Joe Henington; brother, Jim Henington; sisters, Betty Evans, Susie Meyers, Mary Kennedy.

A grave side service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Graceland Cemetery.
