It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marvin Scott Evans of Evington, Virginia, born in Moneta, Virginia, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Aubrey Bascomb Evans and Alice Maddox Evans. He is survived by : his wife Marion Smith Evans; his children, Marshal Evans (Debbie), Stacy Evans (Kelly) and Robin Choo (Charles); and his sister Betty Green. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2022, at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor Dwight Weaver officiating.
