Louise Evans Wilson, 101, of Lynchburg, died Friday, May 1, 2015, at The Summit. She was the widow of Linwood Nelson Wilson.

Born in Amherst County, she is the daughter of the late Aubrey Evans and Alice Maddox Evans.

Louise was a member of Sandusky Baptist Church and a retired employee of Wilko Uniform Co.

She is survived by one son, Linwood N. Wilson, Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Lynchburg; one daughter, Margie W. Doss and her husband, Herman, of Madison Heights; two brothers, Edward Evans and his wife, Carmen, of Forest and Marvin Evans and his wife, Marian, of Evington; two sisters, Betty E. Green of Dover Del. and Dorothy E. Spence of South Boston; five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2015, at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Hewitt and Stephen Doss officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
