Gerald Edwin Cook 94, of Lawton, Oklahoma formally of Duncan, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the Lawton Oklahoma Veterans Center.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Lawton Oklahoma Veterans Center with Chaplain Mike Shklar officiating, private interment services will follow at the Rock Creek Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Gerald was born on Saturday, July 16, 1927 in Nellie, Oklahoma in Stephens County, to Maston Beryl & Amanda Leona (Chasteen) Cook, Gerald was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force, he was veteran serving in W.W. ll, Korean War, and the Viet Nam War, he retired from the Military. He was a Mason, and a member of the Baptist Church, he married Betty Brooks on February 5, 1949 in Duncan, Betty preceded him in death on March 13, 2014.

Military Honors will be provided by the Stephens County Honor Guard.
