Duncan - DELORIS FOSTER, 80, of Duncan, Okla., went to be with her Lord and Savior, with all her children and grandchildren by her side, Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at her home. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Faith Temple Church of God, with Rev. Wayne Morrow officiating and Rev. Jerry Couch and David Morrow assisting. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens under direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Deloris was born Feb. 7, 1930, to Maxton and Amanda (Chasteen) Cook. She married Leonard Raymond Foster, Sr. on Dec. 4, 1946, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and he preceded her in death on July 23, 1994.
Survivors include three sons, Danny R. Foster of Duncan, Leonard Raymond Foster, Jr. and wife Donna of Chickasha, and Rodney Eugene Howell and wife Tina of Duncan; five daughters, Linda Morrow and husband Wayne of Duncan, Glenda Chisum and husband Don Sr. of Duncan, Roma Bernard and husband Billy of Empire, Sue Hebert and husband Kelly of Houston, Texas, and Cassie Bumpas and husband Sonny of Duncan. Also surviving are three brothers, Gerald Cook and wife Betty of Duncan, Wayne Cook and wife Betty of Round Rock, Texas, and James Cook and wife Katie of Cache; two sisters, Leona Baker of Duncan, and Elenor Couch and husband Rev. Jerry of Marlow; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Aline McCaig and Loretta Smith; and one great-grandson, Toby Sweat.
Pallbearers will be Mark Morrow, Don Chisum, Jr., Justin Bernard, Brandi Lemons, Shayne Smith, Kristi Foster, Josh Bumpas and Billy Bernard.
Honorary pallbearers are all of the grandchildren.
