Rawlins E. Thacker

MT. EMMONS, Duchesne County--Rawlins E. Thacker, 65, died Thursday, 5 p.m. at the home of a son, Earl, Talmadge, Duchesne County, of a heart ailment.

Born October 6, 1893, Daniels Creek, Wasatch County to Charles E. and Marie Price Thacker. Married Zella Wright December 18, 1913, Charleston, Wasatch County. She dided June 1, 1958. Lived at Charleston until moving to Mt. Emmons 1927. In 1950 moved to Salt Lake City. Farmer. Retired.

Survivors: sons, daughters, LaRane, Edwin, Oral, Glen, Ken, Mrs. Fred (Jennie) Bleazard, Mrs. Douglas (Mary Beth) Burningham, all Salt Lake City; Earl, Talmadge; Elvin, Upalco. Duchesne County; Mrs. Don (Belva) Fieldsted, Farmington, New Mexico; Mrs. Max (Nedra) Fransworth, Cortez, Colorado; Mrs. Leo (Veda) Jorgensen, Naturita, Colorado; Mrs. Jack (Verna) Allred, Milford; Mrs. John (Grace) Kenison, Provo; 57 grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, three brothers, five sisters.

Funeral Monday, 1 p.m., Charleston Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Friends call Olpin Mortuary, Roosevelt Sunday 7-9 p.m., Olpin Mortuary, Heber Monday prior. Burial Charleston Cemetery.

Rawlins E. Thacker is the son of Maria Rawlins and Charles Edwin Thacker.

He married Zella Wright.

To this union they had the following children: LaRane "Sam" Thacker, Grace Thacker Kennison, Edwin "Ted" Thacker, Verna Thacker Allred, Earl A. Thacker, Oral J "Jim" Thacker, Elvin G. Thacker, Belva Thacker Fieldsted, Glenn B. Thacker, Jenny Thacker Bleazars, Nedra Thacker Farnsworth, Paul Kenn Thacker, Mary Beth Thacker Birmingham and Veda Thacker Jorgensen.
