Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Edwin Wright Thacker, age 73, died May 2, 1990 at Pioneer Valley Hospital in West Valley City, Utah.

Born January 18, 1917 in Upalco, Utah, son of Rawlins and Zella Wright Thacker.

Married June Esklund on September 10, 1942 in Scipio, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple.

Member LDS Church. Retired private leased owner/operator to TRAMCOR. Enjoyed fishing, gardening, the outdoors, and loved his family.

Survived by his wife, Taylorsville; three sons and two daughters, Edwin Ted, Mesa, Arizona; Robert, Salt Lake City; Gary, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Mrs. Tom (Bonnie) Price, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Carl (Terrie) Richardson, Bountiful; sixteen grandchildren; five brothers and seven sisters, Earl, Talmage; Jim, West Jordan; Elvin, Blue Bell; Glen, Murray; Ken, Riverton; Mrs. Grace Kennison, Provo; Mrs. Verna Allred, Altamont; Mrs. Don (Belva) Fieldstead, Kirtland, New Mexico; Mrs. Fred (Jenny) Bleazard, Murray; Mrs. Doug (Mary Beth) Burningham, Panguitch; Mrs. Max (Nedra) Farnsworth, Mtn. Home; Mrs. Leo (Vida) Jorgenson, Vernal.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Taylorsville Ninth Ward Chapel, 2030 West Chateau Ave (5240 South). Friends may call on Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and one hour prior to the services at the Church.

Interment: Charleston Cemetery.
