Herman R. Armbruster, a native of Springfield, died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday at his residence, 710 S. Seventh street. Mr. Armbruster was reared in Springfield where his father, Alphonse Armbruster, was proprietor of the Armbruster Jewelry store for 50 years. For a number of years Herman Armbruster was business agnet for the local electricians union.
He is survived by his wife, Dora D.; one brother, Julius, Los Angeles, Calif., and several nieces and nephews, Mr. Armbruster was a member of Central lodge 71, A.F. & A.M., and of the First christian church.
The body was taken to the Bisch Memorial home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and to time of services tomorrow. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Harry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
