July 9, 1975

Homer A. Boslet, of 853 36th. St., died at 1:58 am today, July 9, 1975, at Altoona Hospital, where he was admitted June 6, after a brief illness. Mr. Boslet retired in 1964 from the Pennsylvania Railroad as a macinist with 44 years' service.

He was born Aug. 20, 1899, in Altoona, a son of Cyrillus and Florence (Fonner) Boslet, and was twice married, first to Edna Hill, who died in 1957 and then to Delia Cling, who died in 1965. Surviving are five children, Clair A., F. Joseph and Mrs. Mary Jane Fraundorfer of Altoona, Bernard C. of Detroit, Mich., and Sister Regina Marie, Sisters of Charity, Phoenix, Ariz.; three stepchildren, Anna May , and Bernard of New York and Mary Jane of Altoona; 22 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Irma Resig, Mrs. Edna Martin, Mrs. Marie Sandruss and Merle of Altoona, Clair of Sinking Springs and Mrs. Florine Carroll, in Connecticut.

Mr. Boslet was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Catholic Knights of St. George, Altoona Senior Citizens and Cesare Battisti Club.

Friends will be received in the Jones Funeral Home from 7 to 9 pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm tomorrow.
