Mrs. Resig, 79, of 2111 19th St. died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 1982, in Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness.
She was born May 31, 1902, in Altoona, the daugther of Cyrillus and Florence (Fonner) Boslet, and married Fred Resig, who died in February 1963.
Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Joan Smith of Fayetteville, Mrs. Clara Mae Tomlinson of Altoona and Mrs. Erma Jean Mathews of Memphis, Tenn., and seven grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and a sister; Merle of Altoona, Clair of Sinking Springs and Mrs. Florine Carroll of Groton, Conn.
Mrs. Resig was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Auxiliary of Catholic Kinghts of St. George and LCBA.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Jones Funeral Home.
RESIG - The funeral of Irma E. Resig of 2111 19th St. will be held with a mass oc Christian burial at noon Monday in St. Leo's Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Jones Funeral Home where a wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
