Joseph and Marian Boslet
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Boslet, 2108 13th Ave., have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married April 8, 1947, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, by the Rev. Edward McConnell. Mrs. Boslet is the Former Marian Francis.
A mass and a dinner reception were held in their honor at the Heidleburg, hosted by their familily.
The couple have five children; Thomas, Robert, Barbara Neff, David, and Theresa Johnsonbaugh, all of Altoona. They have 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Boslet retired from Conrail in May 1987 and he served in the Army Air Force during World War II, receiving two bronze stars.
Mr. Boslet is retired from Riverside Market.
They are both members of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Altoona.
