N. Charleston - Frances "Rose" Rosalie Vashon, 88, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Harold D. Vashon died Saturday, February 16, 2019. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 in the St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 45 Moultrie Street, Charleston at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road. Rose was born August 25, 1930 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Charles B. Fickling and the late Mary Emerson Fickling. Rose was a homemaker and she loved to dance with her husband. She is survived by a son, Mark S. Vashon; two grandsons, Eric Vashon and Taran Vashon; great-grandson, Travis Vashon and many nieces and nephews.
