Edward worked at the Prudential Insurance Agency and was involved in city politics, especially concerning the 4th Ward. In 1935, he became a city Alderman.
Edward passed away 13 July 1945 of a heart attack and was laid to rest near his infant daughter at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton.
