Mrs. Agnes Orr Dead.
Mrs. Agnes Orr, who lived 14 miles northeast of Emporia, died at her home Saturday night of pneumonia.
Mrs. Orr was born in Peoria, Ill., February 15, 1859, and came to Lyon county in 1775 (sic)[probably 1875] . Her maiden name was Agnes Orr. She was married to J.E. Orr in Kansas City, Mo., December 31, 1880. She was a member of the Methodist church. Mrs. Orr is survived by three sisters: Mrs. E.M. Butler, of Duck Creek; Mrs. L.B. Andrews, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Ella Gordon, of Carpenter, Wyo., and one brother, J.W. Orr, of Duck Creek.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Duck Creek schoolhouse. The Rev. Dewitt, pastor of the Methodist church of Reading, will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Duck Creek cemetery.
