Francis (Frank) Joseph Barcellos was the son of Manuel Joseph Barcellos and Maria Pereira who were from the Azores Islands. Frank was born about five miles south of San Luis Obispo, California.He married Alpha Carey 27 June 1906 in Santa Barbara, California. He married Frances Patton Bubar 15 March 1940.

OBITUARY

The rosary will be recited tonight at 8:30 in the Reis Chapel for Frank Joseph Barcellos, 81, who died Saturday in a San Luis Obispo hospital. Funeral services will be conducted by the Elks Lodge Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Reis Chapel. Burial will follow in the IOOF cemetery.
Mr Barcellos was born Aug 29, 1881, about five miles south of San Luis Obispo. He attended Arroyo Grande schools. He was employed in the automobile business and later owned and operated the United Cigar store and the Bee Hive Cafe. He became a cattle buyer for about 10 years but retired a few years ago.
Mr Barcellos was a charter member of the San Luis Obispo Caballeros, a member of the UPPEC and an honorary member of the San Luis Obispo Riding Club.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Frances Barcellos; two stepsons, Dean Bubar of Los Banos and Wayne Bubar of San Luis Obispo; a sister, Mrs Sadie Meyer of San Jose and five grandchildren.
