Possible burial. He was the uncle of Abraham and John Sneed, both buried here. His daughter Martha was wife of John Fuston, and his daughter Mary was wife of Jeptha Fuston. Lucinda Hass Fuston, buried here with her husband, Leroy Fuston, was his granddaughter, the daughter of Sarah Sneed, as was Louisa Hass Fite, also buried here with her husband Moses H. Fite.

1830 census - where are William and Elizabeth??? They were apparently in Wilson Co., TN, as William dies there in 1838 and son John A. marries and dies there in 1841. His brother John is also not listed.

SNEED died intestate and Elijah C. JENNINGS took out letters of admr. John A. was indebted to William SNEED.... Moses H. Fite, administrator of Sarah Hass, versus Thomas J. Sneed of Dekalb County. William Sneed departed this life in Wilson County in January 1838. He left as his heirs Thomas J. Sneed, John A. Sneed, Sarah Hass, formerly Sarah Sneed, Martha Fuston, formerly Martha Sneed, James Sneed, Mary Fuston, formerly Mary Sneed. At the time of the death of the said WIlliam Sneed, Sarah Hass was marred to Simon Hass who was then living. She departed this life in 1840, leaving as her heirs Lucinda who has since married Leroy Fuston and Louisa who has married Moses H. Fite. The husband of the said Sarah Hass departed this life in 1841. Said plaintiffs are seeking a settlement. 16 May 1850. (p.1-11).

"Hon. John A. Fuson, an eminent practicing physician and surgeon of the Fourth District, was born in 1815 in Champaign County, Ohio. He is the third of seven children (three living) of James and Martha (Sneed) Fuson, both of whom were natives of Patrick Co., VA. The father was of English descent, born in 1792. Two years after marriage he moved to Champaign County, Ohio, where he engaged in farming, occasionally preaching. He died in 1863. The mother was of French origin, born about 1795, and died in 1885."

Moses H. Fite, administrator of Sarah Hass, versus Thomas J. Sneed of Dekalb County. William Sneed departed this life in Wilson County in January 1838. He left as his heirs Thomas J. Sneed, John A. Sneed, Sarah Hass, formerly Sarah Sneed, Martha Fuston, formerly Martha Sneed, James Sneed, Mary Fuston, formerly Mary Sneed. At the time of the death of the said WIlliam Sneed, Sarah Hass was marred to Simon Hass who was then living. She departed this life in 1840, leaving as her heirs Lucinda who has since married Leroy Fuston and Louisa who has married Moses H. Fite. The husband of the said Sarah Hass departed this life in 1841. Said plaintiffs are seeking a settlement. 16 May 1850. (p.1-11).

"Hon. John A. Fuson, an eminent practicing physician and surgeon of the Fourth District, was born in 1815 in Champaign County, Ohio. He is the third of seven children (three living) of James and Martha (Sneed) Fuson, both of whom were natives of Patrick Co., VA. The father was of English descent, born in 1792. Two years after marriage he moved to Champaign County, Ohio, where he engaged in farming, occasionally preaching. He died in 1863. The mother was of French origin, born about 1795, and died in 1885."
