Margaret Theresa Flinn, 89, of Odon, passed away at 5:43 p.m. Sept. 9, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Margaret was born April 16, 1928, in Loogootee, to Paris and Margaret (Livers) Cannon. She married Raymond C. Flinn on June 10, 1944. They were married until his death, Feb. 9, 2011.
Margaret was employed as a cook by Daviess Community Hospital and St. Mary’s School.
She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church..
She is survived by two daughters, Babrbara Mensch of Bloomfield and Marsha Hoene of Odon; two sons, John Flinn of Chambersburg, Penn. and Jim Flinn of Richmond Ky.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Sue Sterling of Loogootee, Eva Mae Babrick of Washington and Nancy Hayes of Mooresville; two daughters-in-law, Cheri Flinn and Sue Flinn.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Raymond; her parents; two sons, Mike Flinn and Don Flinn; three brothers, Joe Cannon, Bob Cannon and John Cannon; five sisters, Jenny Strange, Doris Reising, Dorothy Taylor, Eleanor Haller and Lucille Mramor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 at Poindexter/McClure Odon Chapel, with Brother Richard Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Kilgore Cemetery.
