Mary Marguerite Livers Cannon, 88, of Loogootee, died at 10 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 1989, at Poplar Valley Living Center.

She was born on June 8, 1901, in Loogootee, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph Thomas Livers and Susan Marie McAtee.

Mary and Paris Issac Cannon were married on June 9, 1919, In Loogootee, Indiana.

She was a member of St John Catholic Church, its Altar Society Golden Years Club Legion of Mary, and Senior Citizens of Loogootee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1968

She is survived by eight daughters, Eleanor Haller, and Doris Reising, both of Jasper, Virginia Strange, and Mary Sue Sterling, both of Loogootee, Margie Flinn, and Eva Mae Babrick, both of Washington, Dorothy Taylor, of Indianapolis, and Nancy Hayes, of Mooresville; two sons, Robert and Joseph, both of Loogootee; 39 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and two great-greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St John Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 pm Tuesday at Titzer Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 8 pm.
