James R. (Bob) Cannon age 78 of Jasper died at 8:55 a.m. Saturday (January 15, 2011) Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

He was born May 28, 1932 in Loogootee, Indiana to Paris and Marguerite (Livers) Cannon. He married Norma Mundy September 15, 1979 in St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland.

Bob retired from Crane Navel Depot where he worked from 1950 until his retirement in 1990 . The family moved from Loogootee to Jasper in 1994.

He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Friends may call from 2-8 Tuesday (January 18, 2011) at the Becher & Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
