Herbert Bryant Galbreath, 66, of Route 2, Vidalia, died Thursday of last week in Meadows Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.

A native of Montgomery County, he was a son of the late William H. and Catherine Fiveash Galbreath, and a member of the New Corinth Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the New Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Vernon Hetrick and the Rev. Edgar Galbreath, officiating. Interment was in the Galbreath Cemetery with Murchison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were nephews, and honorary pallbearers were: Wade Garrett, Campbell Register, Herman Wilkes, Tom McDonald, J. Hall NeSmith, Joe O'Neal, Kenneth Colson.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Florence Booth, Hinesville; four brothers, T.W. Galbreath, Alston, I.D. Galbreath and W.D. Galbreath, Vidalia, and Theron Galbreath, Ft. St. John, Canada.
