SARAH S PETERSON, a 20 year resident of Red Bank, NJ, died from a complication of diseases. She had been in poor health and had been confined to bed several weeks. Sarah was the daughter of John and Mary (Collins) Peterson. Besides her husband, Harry Arthur Leddy, she leaves nine children, Marion, Catherine, James, Edward, Walter and Francis, who live at home, Margaret of Freehold, NJ, John of Irvington and George, who graduated last month from Georgetown University; siblings, Peter Peterson of Albany, NY, Mrs John Hinchley of Morristown, NJ and Mrs John Leddy of Long Branch, NJ. A Funeral Service was held at St James Catholic Church and a requiem high mass was chanted by Reverend John B McCloskey, the rector. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Middletown, NJ. Published in the Red Bank Register on July 14, 1925.
