Ruby Jack Compton was one of many sons of Silas Monroe Compton and wife Rosa Frances Warner. During the 1920s to 1930s he moved from Faubush, Kentucky to Detroit, Michigan, but traveled back to Kentucky often, which wore his body down severely to the point where in in 1932 he moved back to Pulaski County, Kentucky with an ailing body and stayed. He never complained about the pain. He claimed the lord was helping the pain, until his death the next year. Ruby never married, nor fathered any children.
