Mona Benham, 10. Dies After Brief Illness

Brandenburg Station (Special) — Our community was saddened when the death angel visited the home of Mr. ana Mrs. David A. Benham on last Thursday evening, March 25 and the spirit of Mona Louise went to be with her Maker. Mona was born Feb. 23, 1933. She was sick only a short time but suffered a great deal. All that loving hands could do was done, but to no avail.

She is survived by her parents, three sisters, Mrs. Maydee Snyder, Mrs. Mattie Lee McMahan and Mrs. Katherine Barker; five brothers, Garland, Paul David, Gilbert, Robert and James; her grandfather, Mr. J. G. Benham, 5 nephews and 5 nieces. She was the youngest child in the, family and was devoted to her parents.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Lawton at the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon and the remains were
laid to rest under a beautiful mound of flowers.
