Long Illness Claims Theresa Scopel, 74

Theresa Scopel, 74, formerly of 6214 11th Ave., died at Shady Lawn Nursing Home early this morning following a long illness. Born in Quero, Italy, on April 23, 1891, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matt Bellaver, she came to America in 1902.

Mrs. Scopel first resided in Pennsylvania, later moved to Hillsboro, Ill., where she resided until 1929, and then came to Kenosha. On July 2, 1907, she married Giacomo Scopel in Hillsboro, Ill. He preceded her in death on Dec. 28. 1958. She was a member of St. James Church.

Surviving is one son, Arthur, Kenosha; three daughters, Mrs. Gene (Emma) Agazzi and Mrs. Richard (Mary) Kohloff, both of Kenosha, and Mrs. Thomas (Jilda) Rosko, Witt, Ill.; four brothers, Anton, Kenosha, Manse, Springfield, Ill., Harry, Tappan, N.Y., and John, Hillsboro, Ill,; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Dallasanta, Kenosha, and Mrs. Lena Dal Canton, Hillsboro, Ill., 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
