Roy D Gladhill, 75, who resided with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. And Mrs. Kenneth Hartzock, Littlestown R1, died Tuesday at 4:00 at Hanover General Hospital where he was a patient 11 weeks.
He was a retired employee of Carroll Shoe company.
A son of the late George W and Margaret Woodring Gladhill, he was a member of Redeemer's United Church of Christ. His wife, Mrs. Mary Study Gladhill, died in 1941.
Surviving are seven children, George C., Hagerstown; Robert D., Littlestown R2; Mrs. Emma Fair,
Mrs. Mary Schneider and Mrs. Audrey Flynn, all of Hanover; Mrs. Alice Hartsock, Littlestown R1, with whom he resided and Betty Gladhill, Frederica, Del; 23 grandchildren; five great grandchildren and
two sisters, Mrs. Emma Pryor and Mrs. Bessie Hows, both of Lance, Md.
Rev. Glenn K Flinchbaugh, his pastor, will officiate at services Thursday at 1:00 at the Little Funeral Home, Maple Ave., Littlestown. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Fairfield.
