This is 16 years late, but better than never, eh? Mervin "Dale" Bishop was my father. He left us for a new family, so I didn't like him much. However, he taught us some important life lessons. He taught us the importance of kindness and tolerance, mostly by the absence of it.
I miss you, Dad, but I sure don't miss the stress. And each spring, I dedicate my garden to you. I think you'd like that.
I hope you're at peace now. I love you. Still. In spite of it all.
