Swedish patriarch. He was a paper mill executive and city official in Borlänge, where he lived all his life. He was also a churchwarden at Stora Tuna, Dalecarlia Cathedral. With his wife he had three daughters and five sons, of whom the oldest daughter died in infancy. For unknown reasons he wanted all his sons to be ordained as ministers in the Church of Sweden. Three of them were, one of them studied for it but went into business instead, and one refused, which caused quite a ruckus. His elder daughter married a church accountant, and the younger a bishop. He was hit by a train so that a foot was injured, and his hair quickly turned from black to white from the pain. He is remembered as kindhearted, though also temperamental.
