Retta Agnes Beckett, 81, of Ovapa, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at CAMC General in Charleston after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oral K. Beckett; parents, Robert Preston and Mamie Woodrum King; brothers, Garrett King, Earl King; sister, Ivy Wells; and infant sister, Nina Faye King. Survivors include her sons, Rodger Beckett and companion Helen Davis, of KY, James E. Beckett, of Left Hand, WV, Ronald P. Beckett and wife Joanne, of Clendenin; daughter, Patricia Salisbury and husband Eddie, of Ovapa; brothers, Gene King, of Clay, Jerry King, of Spencer; sisters, Irene Hardman, of St. Albans, Audrey Oxley, of Walton; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
