Mrs. Battani was born in Lexington, Missouri and lived in Woodward most of her life. She was a homemaker and belonged to Assumption Catholic Church.
Mrs. Battani is survived by her husband, Bruno, of Woodward; her children, Bob, of West Des Moines, Ron of Austin, Texas, David of Woodward, and Lanny of Waukee; and her sisters, Esther Biondi of Granger and Eileen Anderson of Des Moines. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
