David John “Bosco” Battani, 73, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at home. Private family services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, at Assumption Catholic Church in Granger, Iowa. Burial will follow at Beaver Catholic Cemetery near Granger.
David was born October 12, 1947, in Perry, Iowa, to Bruno and Geneva (Rosetta) Battani. He graduated in 1967 from Woodward-Granger High School. David worked as a supervisor for Woodward Resource Center before retiring. He also ran David’s Barber Shop for many years before retiring in 2020. David was a member of Woodward Golf Club and was an avid fan of the Iowa State University Cyclones and Green Bay Packers.
David is survived by his three brothers, Bob (Judy) Battani of Altoona, IA, Ron Battani of Henderson, NV, and Lanny Battani of Waukee, IA. He was preceded in death by parents.
