Genevieve Ford, 88, of Grand Island died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at BryanLGH East Medical Center in Lincoln.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island. Mr. Dennis Fiedler will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ford was born on June 19, 1913, in Grand Island to John and Pearl (Jenkins) Baker. She was raised in Grand Island and attended Lincoln Elementary and Walnut Junior High. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1932.
She married Isaac Ford in 1945. She was employed by the David Kaufmann family for 48 years.
She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
Survivors include one sister, Minnie Williams of Grand Island, and one brother, Leonard Baker of Grand Island.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Velma Baker and June Locke; and three brothers, Johnny Baker Jr., Willard Baker and Thomas Baker.
