Mr. and Mrs. John Baker, residing about two miles northeast of the city, mourn the loss of their infant son, Johnnie, aged nine months, who died suddenly at the home about 10:15 a.m. Sunday, after a very brief illness of bronchial pneumonia. He had been ill less than two days. Besides the bereaved parents, three brothers, three sisters, and grandmother survive. Funeral services will be held from the Baumann-Mullin funeral home on West Second street, at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, if weather conditions are propitious. Burial will take place in the Grand Island cemetery.

Mortuary - Funeral of Johnnie Baker.
Funeral services for Johnnie Baker, nine months old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Baker, were held from the Baumann-Mullin funeral home at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, and were very largely attended. Rev. Blair, pastor of the colored Methodist church, conducted the services. Burial was made in the Grand Island cemetery.
