Funeral services for Adlie Oneal "Slim" Stover, 74, of Falkville will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Peck Funeral Home with Rev. A. G. Dennard officiating. Burial will be in Burning Tree Memorial Gardens. He died Tuesday at Decatur General Hospital. He was born on November 11, 1919 near Anderson in Lauderdale County to James Walter and Etta (Littrell) Stover. He was a retired boilermaker for TVA. He is survived by his wife, Lucille (Bunn) Stover; his sons, Harold Stover Decatur, Oneal Stover of Portage, Indiana, Robert Stover of Drakesboro, Kentucky, and Thomas Stover of Trinity; his daughters, Becky Santos of Hobart, Indiana, Linda Swindle of Schereville, Indiana, and Anita McCutchen, Mary Decker, and Pat Moore, all of Decatur; his brother, Herman Curtis Stover of Decatur; his sisters, Sarah Marie Blackwood and Willodean "Dean" Rainey, both of Hartselle, Frances Jewel "Peggy" Cheatwood of Cullman, and Rachel Sue Scheinert of Birmingham; twenty three grandchildren; and twenty three great-grandchildren.
