Charley operated a gas station in Texhoma before moving to Guymon where he and his brother, Sid Boston, owned & operated a plumbing and electric business that turned into a furniture and appliance store. He later went into business with his daughter & son-in-law and bought Independent Hardware. He was a member of the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church of Guymon, and he was a loving husband and father.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, three daughters, five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a great-great grandson, and a sister-in-law. He is preceded in death by one sister and six brothers.
Graveside services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday May 1, 2006 at the Elmhurst Cemetery, and will be followed by Memorial services at 11 a.m. at Victory Memorial United Methodist Church in Guymon.
