Clyde Alex Boston, 93, of Goodwell, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998 at Dunaway Manor Nursing Home in Guymon.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 29 in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Woods of Central Christian Church at Liberal, Kan., officiating. Burial will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery.

Mr. Boston was born John Jackson and Evaline Susan (Oldham) Boston on December 25, 1925 in Hillsboro, Texas. In 1906, he moved to the Oklahoma Panhandle and lived west of Goodwell.

He married Dolly Lea White on Dec. 25, 1925 at Stratford, Texas. They moved to Colorado and ranched near Arlington from 1930 until 1962, when they returned to Goodwell. He worked at Boston Furniture and Appliances until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of Elks Lodge and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and five brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Dolly of 72 years; and a brother, Charley Boston and his wife, Lois of Guymon and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and Affiliates; Goodwell Baptist Church; or a favorite charity.
