J.G. Shaw and son, Ordell Shaw, attended the funeral of George Bashline held yesterday afternoon in the Methodist Church at Lamartine, Clarion County. Internment was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bashline, who was 83 years of age, had resided for many years on his farm near the Cross Roads in Clarion County. His death occurred at 1:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon, after an illness of eight months. He was well known in the city, having for a number of years engaged in huckstering into Oil city. He is survived by his wife and five children, Albert and Mrs. Otis and Mrs. Frank Rossman, of the Cross Roads; Dr. O.O. Bashline, of Grove City, and William Bashline, of Florida; Earl, Edgar, and Ordell Shaw, of this city are grandsons of the deceased.
