John Edward Doss, 58, of Stillwater died on September 7, 1998 at Stillwater Medical Center. He was born on June 15, 1939 near Berryville, Arkansas to Raymond Theodore and Alice (Smith) Doss. He was a self employed piano tuner. He married the former Linda Lou Baker on August 21, 1982 in Berryville, Arkansas. She survives. Also surviving are his mother of Sand Springs; his daughter, Linda JoAnn Atchity of Overland Park, Kansas; his son, Eric Doss of Tulsa; his step-daughter, Fara Williams; his step-sons, Mark Williams and Scott Williams; his sisters, Mary Alice Shockley of Bristow, Rita Jean Massey of Sand Springs, and Rosielee Inman of Berryville, Arkansas; his brothers, Carl James Doss, Ronald Theodore Doss, and Thomas Dewayne Doss, all of Sand Springs, Lonny Richard Doss of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Samuel Michael Doss of Bristow; and eight grandchildren. Graveside services were held Thursday in Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs with Rev. Tommy Cole officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Services.
