Thomas Dewayne Doss, 57, of Sand Springs died on September 20, 1998 at his home. He was born on August 21, 1941 in Berryville, Arkansas to Raymond Theodore and Alice (Smith) Doss. He was a Rehabilitation Counselor for the Blind for Department of Human Services. He married the former Shirley Ann Baker on August 24, 1984. He was preceded in death by his father; his sister, Evelyn Helen Thompson; and his brother, John Edward Doss. He is survived by his wife; his mother of Sand Springs; his daughter, Shirley Marie Barton of Sapulpa; his sons, David Michael Doss of Tulsa and Duane Joseph Doss of Muskogee; his step-sons, Thomas Wilson, Vernon Wilson, and William Wilson; his sisters, Mary Alice Shockley of Bristow, Rita Jean Massey of Sand Springs, and Rosielee Inman of Berryville, Arkansas; his brothers, Carl James Doss and Ronald Theodore Doss, both of Sand Springs, Lonny Richard Doss of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Samuel Michael Doss of Bristow; and ten grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Woodland Memorial Park under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
