Carl Doss, 76, of Sand Springs , OK passed from this life Monday, March 25, 2013, with his loving family by his side.

Life began for Carl in Carroll County , Arkansas , January 21, 1937. Born to Raymond Theodore and Alice (Smith) Doss, he attended school in White Oak, AR until the family moved to Sand Springs, Oklahoma, where he finished his education. As a young man, Carl developed a passion for hunting and fishing; making time to enjoy the outdoors every chance he got. Camping was a favorite pastime and Carl looked forward to the opportunity to indulge in ‘roughing' it with a fishing pole in hand and fish in the frying pan.

In 1957, Carl was united in marriage to LaDonna Richardson in Sapulpa , Oklahoma and the couple raised two children in a loving home with lots of fun and happy memories of good times and solid family values. LaDonna's passing in 2012 left a dedicated husband and adoring family to mourn the absence in their hearts; however, their children find comfort in knowing the two are now reunited and have found the peace of being together once again.

Riding motorcycles and playing pool were activities Carl would turn to for relaxation when not at his job at Fabsco, Inc. He was a fabricator by trade and retired as a supervisor in 2007, with 35 years of dedicated employment.

His greatest pride lay with his family--his wife, children, grandchildren and great-children brought him joy unmatched by anything on earth. The legacy of his commitment to them will live on for years to come.

Surviving Carl is his son, Carl R. Doss and his wife Tammy of Sand Springs, Ok; Sandy Taber and her husband Benny of Sand Springs, OK; grandchildren, Tabitha Parks and husband Blake, Lindsey Bolding and her husband Chase, Keri Mackey and husband Clint, Courtney Lopp and husband Shawn, Kelsey Taber and fiancé Tony Ackart, Kayleigh Doss; Great-grandchildren; Keegan Parks, Peyton Mackey, Austin Mackey, Keira Parks, Owen Mackey, Paige Bolding and Emalee Ackart, Ireleigh Lopp, Derreth Ackart and baby Ella Bolding. Also surviving Carl are his siblings; Ronald Doss, Mary Shockley, Richard Doss and Sam Doss.

Preceding Mr. Doss in death were his parents; loving wife of 54 years- LaDonna Doss; siblings, Rosalie Inman, Dorothy Mae Doss, Helen Cave Thompson, Rita Massey, Johnny Doss, Tommy Doss and Ruth Green.
