Services for OTIS E. PUTVIN, 85, of 220 Merriman Ave., who died Sunday in St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness, will be at times to be announced, Friday at the Calahan-Hanley-Mooney Funeral Home, 101 Milton Ave., and in St. Lucy's Church, where a solemn high Mass of requiem will be celebrated.
Mr. Putvin was a Syracuse native. He was a retired employee of the City of Syracuse Department of Parks. He worked for many years, at the Burnet Park Zoo. He was a communicant of St. Lucy's Church and a member of its Holy Name Society.
He has no known survivors.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
