Stephen J. Putvin – Funeral services for Stephen J. Putvin, an employee of the Post-Standard for more than 26 years, who died Monday at his home, 810 Montgomery st., will take place at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home and at 9:30 o'clock in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Katherine Mooney Putvin; three brothers, Frederick Putvin of Parish and Gilbert and Otis Putvin of Syracuse; three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Martineau, Mrs. James H. Spencer and Miss Florence Putvin, and several nieces and nephews. He was a communicant of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and a member of the Holy Name Society. Burial will be in St. Agnes' cemetery.
