Miss Putvin Dies At Nursing Home
Miss Florence M. Putvin, 81, of 1890 S. Salina St. died Sunday in a local nursing home after a long illness.
Miss Putvin was a life resident of Syracuse. She retired as head of the New York Telephone Company's stenographic department in 1950.
Miss Putvin was a communicant of St. Joseph's French Church.
Surviving are a brother, Otis Putvin, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow at the John C. Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St., and at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's French Church, where a solemn high Mass of requiem will be celebrated by the Rev. David J. Norcott.
Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
