HARVEY A. CALHOUN, 92, of Shelocta R.D. 1, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 1965 in the States Nursing Home in Indiana.

He was a son of Samuel and Susan Miller Calhoun and was born August 17, 1872 in Plumcreek Twp., Armstrong County.

He was a retired merchant and was a member of the Elderton United Presbyterian Church, where he had served as an elder for over 40 years.

Mr. Calhoun is survived by the following: three daughters: Mrs. Ward (Virginia) Ambrose and Mrs. Fred (Marguerite) Day, both of Rural Valley; and Mrs. Glenna Mae Wood with whom the deceased had made his home at Shelocta R.D. 1; one brother, James Calhoun of Shelocta; four sisters: Mrs. Mertie Rosborough and Miss Bertha Calhoun, both of Indiana R.D. 1, Mrs. Minnie Wissinger, Elderton, and Mrs. Ray (Rose) Sharp, Apollo; two grandchildren and one step grandchild.

Friends will be received at the Clark Funeral Home in Elderton today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Mr. C. Vincent Wilson officiating. Interment will in the Elderton Cemetery.
