Mrs. Nancy Verminna "Minnie" Wissinger, 98, of Kittanning RD 1 died at 6 this morning at Armsdale Manor, Kittanning, RD 5.

She was born Oct. 17, 1878, a daughter of Samuel and Susanna (Milier) Calhoun of Plum Creek Township.

Mrs. Wissinger was the oldest surviving member of the Elderton United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Merle C. and Kenneth C., both of Kittanning RD 1, five grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren and one sister, Bertha Calhoun, living in Blairsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winnett D. Wissinger; a son, Edward; five brothers and five sisters.

WISSINGER-- Friends of Mrs. Nancy Verminna "Minnie" Wissinger, who died Jan. 5. 1977, will be received at the Clarence P. Ciark Funeral Home, Eiderton, from noon Thursday until 2 p.m. Friday, when service will be held there with the Rev. Elvin B. Sharp officiating, assisted by the Rev. Gary D. Brenner. Burial in the Elderton Cemetery will follow.
